Product Overview

Our Steel Barrel Airtight Tester, also called steel Drum Leak Detector or seal integrity tester, is dedicated testing equipment for verifying the sealing performance and pressure resistance of metal barrels. Airtight inspection is a compulsory full-check procedure for every finished steel drum during mass manufacturing, with the qualified leak rate capped at 1‰. This machine fills drums with compressed air or other testing media, then judges product qualification by tracking internal pressure drop or capturing escaping gas.

We support four mainstream customizable testing solutions to fit different inspection standards and sensitivity demands. The standard positive pressure method tracks pressure attenuation after air inflation for routine batch inspection. The water immersion bubble method submerges pressurized barrels to visually pinpoint exact leak spots. The vacuum chamber approach detects gas outflow by creating a negative-pressure enclosed environment around the drum. For ultra-precise micro-leak detection, the helium tracer gas method paired with a mass spectrometer delivers the highest testing accuracy, ideal for high-standard export-grade steel drum production.
